FAQs

What are your opening times?

We offer local deliveries between 6pm and 8pm each day.

You can order 24 hours a day on our website or drop us a message through the contact us page on the website or Facebook and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. 

How long does it take for delivery?

We are open 7 days a week (this may be different during holiday periods). 

We process orders for postage from Monday to Friday and these will normally be despatched on the next working day after ordering (although we try to despatch same day where possible). Postal deliveries are normally sent through Royal Mail and will take 2-4 working days for delivery depending on if 1st or 2nd class delivery is chosen. 

How soon can I collect my order?

Collection can be ready as soon as 20 minutes after you order. We will contact you to let you know once it’s ready and to arrange a time for you to collect. 

Where is collection?

You can collect from us on Everest Way in Adeyfield, Hemel Hempstead. We are not a shop open to the public so please ensure you have ordered online and we have let you know it is ready to collect before you arrive. 

 

Do you deliver outside the UK?

Unfortunately we only post to the UK. 

How do I pay?

You can pay using most debit and credit cards as well as PayPal through our website. Additionally if you are ordering for local delivery or collection you are able to pay by cash. 

How should I store my sweets?

Most of our sweets will come in our resealable heat sealed bags for freshness. This means they will stay fresh in the bag but we recommend you eat them within a month of purchasing them.

How long will my sweets last?

We have a high turnover of stock at Pixie Bell Sweets and the majority of our sweets are far from the best before date however once we have packed your order we recommend eating them within a month for the best taste! 

Can I choose what sweets I get?

Yes you can! We have a create your own mix option which allows you to pick 10 sweets to go into your bag from around 100 different options. 

I'm ordering as a gift to someone else. Can you include a note so they know who it's from?

Yes we can! Just let us know in the notes section of your order what you would like us to say. We also have a number of different stickers you can add to your pick n mix bag for special occasions e.g. Happy Birthday, Happy Valentines, Thank you, etc. Please see the product pages for more details.  

I have a nut allergy. Can I order from you?

We don’t include sweets with nuts in our sweet mixes although we do have nuts present on site. Our sweets may also contain traces of nuts from the manufacturer so unfortunately our sweets are not suitable for anyone with a nut allergy. 

What should I do if my order hasn't arrived?

If you haven’t received your order please get in touch to let us know.

My order was wrong. What should I do?

We’re confident there shouldn’t be an issue with your order as we check all orders before being dispatched but if there is a problem please contact us to let us know.

Can I create an account?

Our website allows you to create an account to save your details which will make it easier for you to make any future orders. 

Can I change my order after it has been placed?

Please contact us as soon as possible after you order if you would like to make any changes and we will do our best to accommodate your changes however this may not be possible. 

Can I return an item?

If your sweets are unopened and in the original packaging you can return them up to 14 days after purchase. You will be required to return the sweets to us and pay for any return postage. 

Unfortunately any sweets which have been opened cannot be returned unless they are not fit for consumption. If you feel the items are not edible, defective or damaged please contact us as soon as you receive your order to let us know.

We will require photo evidence for all damaged items and may require you to return the item(s) to us. If you dispose of any items we will not be able to refund.
